5: Look in your basements or crawlspace if the pipes disappear through the ground and the shut off valves are not straight under the sink. Locate where the pipes enter into the space and search for them to locate any shutoff valve in this area. Turn the shut off control, if found, and return to the put to drain any drinking water that remains in the pipe after turning off the provision.
